SYNOPSISDIRECTORS NOTES CREDITS THE CHARACTERS

The coming of the World Cup of Soccer for the first time to the African continent, in 2010, may be seen as the flowering of the South African achievement: the destruction of institutionalized racism.

Nelson Mandela’s vision was for a “rainbow nation” of equality, love and reconciliation. This documentary will be a report on whether, in the lives of our film’s characters, that promise came true. Five individuals - a former white racist policeman; a young soccer star from the townships; a former Zulu warlord who denies the blood on his hands; the sister of a murdered African National Congress leader; and a wealthy white lawyer who lost everything because of the disgrace of an interracial love affair - all went through hell during the Apartheid years, and have emerged, thanks to the power of faith, family and belief in their country, with personal victories.
